Obituary of Ivy G. Ragin

Ivy G. Ragin, age 75, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jamaica, West Indies, on May 19, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Egbert and Imogene Myers. Before her retirement, Ivy had been employed by Trump Pavilion Nursing Home, in Jamaica, New York as a Dietician with many years of dedicated service. Ivy was a true Mets fan, enjoyed playing Lotto and cooking for her family. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother who lived for her grandchildren. She touched the hearts of many. Her memory will carry on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her loving children, Kenneth Ragin of Florida and Charmaine Lloyd and her husband Troy of Trumbull, three cherished grandchildren, Troi Ayana, Tyler Amir and Kenneth Kelsey, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
