Obituary of Frank D'Andrea

Frank D'Andrea, age 83, of Shelton, son of Rose Fuggiero D'Andrea, and beloved husband of the late Irene V. Wislowski D'Andrea, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on November 3, 1933, graduate of Central High School class of 1952, he was the owner and operator of the former D’Andrea’s Chevron on Stratford Avenue in Bridgeport for over 25 years. Survivors include four adoring children, Laura Mosher and her husband Tom of Darien, Roxanne Herlihy and her husband Rich of Shelton, Michael D'Andrea and his wife Mindy of Southington, and Christen D'Andrea and her husband Mark Sticca of Darien, nine grandchildren Katherine and Alec Mosher, Richard, Christopher, Matthew and Elizabeth Herlihy, Jasmin and Jordan D'Andrea and Marianna Sticca, a brother, Anthony D’Andrea of FL, and a sister, Rosalie Cisero of Bridgeport, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Bob D’Andrea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa’s Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in the St. Michael's Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
