My grandfather was the most wonderful man you'll ever meet. He was the only father figure in my life, and I'm sad to say that he'll miss some important moments in my life!

What a sweet man George was. I had the pleasure of working with him at Waveny for about 6 years (late 90's). What great memories I have of him. I'm so sorry to hear the news, but I hope he is at peace. God bless him and his family. Sending prayers, Laura James Kelly

I loved Jorge so much and am so heartbroken for his family and for the world. For almost 2 decades I can reflect on memories spent with Jorge and hearing stories about him and things that he said, places he went (random trips to Atlantic City), weekly poker, sticky notes to Christine, waterbeds, gardens, little pants, instances with the Connecticut Post and News Channel 12. Even now i cant help but smile through the tears as I think of them. All of these moments brought so much joy and laughter. I will cherish and treasure them always. When he came to the church for my wedding in 2011, and sat right behind me, I was more happy to see him then I was the groom!! He left an everlasting mark in my heart and to everyone who knew him and in this world, that is a rare gem and we were all blessed to have known him. Especially to my best friend Christine, he loved you so much, you two had such a special bond and not even death can separate that. This man was the absolute best and I am so sorry Christine, Jamie, Michelle, George, Daviann and to his brothers and sisters and grandchild. I am praying and praying for him and for you. AnnMay
