Obituary of Beverlee A. Costanzo

Beverlee A. Costanzo, 70, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Born in Bridgeport, she lived in Newtown, Old Lyme and Niantic, Connecticut before moving to Bradenton, Florida in 2005. She was predeceased by her father Louis, mother Ann and older brother L. Johnny, and is survived by her sister Gayle Van Pelt, her brothers James (Debbie) and William (Michele) Costanzo, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many good friends. Bev grew up in Bridgeport, graduated from Warren Harding High School and attended Connecticut College in New London. She then worked for SNET for 30 years first as an operator and then as an engineering assistant. Like many others preferring the warm weather, she retired to Florida. However, retirement didn't last long as she spent many years as the primary caregiver for both of her parents prior to their passing in recent years. Beverlee is best known for her legacy of kindness, love, wisdom and friendship. She was a friend to all and loved by so many people across our country. A celebration of her wonderful life will be held at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. Friends are invited to meet directly in Section 12 at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. for graveside committal services.
