I extend my condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Stella/s family and friends. As a Nurse Practitioner at Bridgeport Health Care Center I worked with the nurses and CNAs to care for Stella for seven years. I was grateful that Stella had much support from her family and was happy to have been able to work with Michaelina. Although I no longer work there, I keep in touch with the nurses and CNAs and visit from time to time. Just a couple of weeks ago one of the nurses let me know that Stella was doing okay. I admired her fight for independence, her "beating the odds" and fondly recall her love of music. Stella was a unique, lovely lady. I picture her dancing and laughing and enjoying her new life with the angels. May God bless Stella and all who loved her.
