Obituary of Rose C. Cacciola

Rose C. Cacciola, age 94, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull. Born in Bridgeport on May 14, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Antonina Romeo Cacciola. She worked as a secretary for Remington Rand before her retirement with over 40 years of dedicated service. A longtime, faithful and dedicated volunteer at St. Vincent's Medical Center; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Cacciola and sisters, Sally Norman and Pauline Verrilli. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
