I never had the honor of meeting "Iggy", as I heard him described , but I know his beautiful grand daughter Gabrielle. I hope he knew just how much he shaped her life and how important he was to her. I heard story after story from Gabby of how he loved and supported his family. He was a rock for Gabby and I hope his memory continues to provide strength to her as I'm sure it does to all the members of his family. I know these words comes long after Iggy's passing but now is when I found this touching memorial and I felt compelled to share my distant, but meaningful, connection to Ignatius Masullli. Rest In Peace.

Uncle Nonjo was a gift to me and my family. He was generous, funny, kind and had a huge heart. We had so many fun memorable times together...we would laugh so hard over our stories and jokes! When I got married 10 years ago, he walked me down the aisle and when the justice of the peace started the ceremony he was still holding my hand. We laughed about that until the end. Uncle Nonjo, may you rest in peace. You brought a lot of happiness to all of us including everyone at Stern Village.I will miss our rides around Trumbull when you would show me the landmarks and shortcuts to get to places. I was blessed to have you in my life. I will really miss you!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended my father's service today. To Iggy, my dad, I'm sure he would think it was too extravagant as he was a man of humble needs. But I also know he would have been deeply honored.
During visits to his apartment at Stern Village over the last few weeks, we would find him bundled up under the covers with a sweater on over a flannel shirt. He tolerated it when we turned the air conditioner and fan on. So it's no surprise that today was as hot as it was. It was dad getting the last laugh! No doubt the temperature was just right for him ;)
So to his relatives and to his friends, both new and old, your presence today was truly a gift. Thank you from Mark, Polly and Gabrielle.

Thinking of all of you and hoping that just as he smiles in the picture here, he was greeted with smiles of all of those who went before him. May Mr. Masulli rest in peace, and with time and , may your sadness turn to a joy-filled life long remembered.
With sympathy - Bill and Mary Porter (Mary Beth's inlaws)

I will always miss my beloved uncle. He was like a second father to me. He was always there for me and he lives on in my heart. He was a pure, generous and loving soul and he gave of himself not only to his family but to others so unselfishly. I know I will see him again one day in heaven and that he is watching over all of us, just as he always did every day of his life.

Uncle Nonjo was my favorite Uncle. He always had a smile on his face and funny stories to tell us about the past with this brothers. We loved hearing his stories even if he told them to us several times before.
He will be missed by all his nieces and nephews very much. He was our History Book of the family and our last uncle to pass.
May his memory be eternal.
Many blessings to all,
His niece
