Obituary of Kristy L. Waizenegger

Kristy L. Ludlam Waizenegger, age 50, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Steven Waizenegger, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hempstead, New York on April 3, 1966, she was the daughter of William V Ludlam Sr., of Deerfield Beach, FL and the late Georgene Rossell Ludlam and was a Senior Consultant for The Hartford. Kristy was a true supporter of St. Joseph High School, where she enjoyed watching her daughter play sports and helped the school in any way she could. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Theresa Church, Trumbull and it was there where Kristy's faith would guide her through her difficult times. During the last few years she became an advocate for cancer education and awareness. She truly enjoyed living in Trumbull with her family; Kristy was a multiple term District 4 Councilwomen. She was involved in town government to make Trumbull a great place to live and raise a family. She enjoyed playing the piano and spending time by her pool. But above all these things, Kristy was a devoted wife and mother. She treasured every minute with her husband and daughter and her love and memory will live in their hearts forever. She will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her beloved husband of 23 years, Steven, and her father, survivors include her cherished and adored daughter, Alexandra L. Waizenegger of Trumbull, a brother, William V Ludlam Jr., and his wife Joan of Hauppauge, NY, her father and mother-in-law, Bob and Marie Waizenegger of Lewes, DE, brother-in-law, Robert A. Waizenegger and his wife Victoria of Fairfax, VA, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
