Obituary of Grace M. Puglisi

Grace M. Jensen Puglisi, age 90, of Shelton, beloved wife of Harry Puglisi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on August 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Inger Rasmussen Jensen. A graduate of the Stratford High School Class of 1945, she was a retired manager for the former Skydel's Department Store. Grace enjoyed bus trips to the casino, was an avid bowler and enjoyed water aerobics. But above all else her greatest love in life was her husband and her family. She treasured the time spent together and her memory and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Grace will be truly missed. In addition to her beloved husband of 70 years, Harry, survivors include three loving daughters, Ann Chuka and her husband Jack of Shelton, Peggy Marini and her husband Frank of Shelton, Pamela Savo and her husband David of Derby, six cherished grandchildren, Amy Reilly and her husband Paul, Jack Chuka Jr. and his wife Susana, Jeffrey Marini and his wife Eileen, Jennifer Florin and her husband Gregory, David Savo and his wife Jennifer, Laurie Flynn and her husband Frank, five adored great grandchildren, Joseph, Rachel, Jacob, Tony and Emma, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by two brothers, Harold and Lief and her stepmother Anna Jensen. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew's Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
