Obituary of Eleanor May Lucy

Eleanor May Perille Lucy, age 89, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Lucy, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on May 6, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Frances Perille. Eleanor's faith was very important to her and evident through her membership in the Ladies Guild at Holy Rosary Church and the prayer line at St. Catherine of Siena Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Survivors include three devoted children, Dianne Krusinski of Shelton, Philip Lucy and his wife Cheryl of Trumbull and Joseph Lucy and his wife Linda of Shelton, six cherished grandchildren, Scott and Joseph Krusinski and Philip, Blake, Christopher and Joseph Lucy, her sister, Frances Lemieux of Newtown and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lenny, Mickey, and Sam Perille, her sisters, Phyllis Pellegrino, Florence Bennett and Sadie Cannone and son-in-law, David Krusinski. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Road, Trumbull on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph High School, 2320 Huntington Turnpike, Trumbull, CT 06611.
