Dear Goodwin Family, I had the pleasure of working with Joe at DCAA - Stratford when I got of school in 1987. He was a great mentor. We made Trumbull our home in 1992. I'd see Joe on occasion at the Trumbull dump on Saturday mornings and chat about our families and careers. Our thoughts are with you at this time, and focus on the positive things he instilled on each one of you and share with them with your children. John Gelmetti

It was my sincere pleasure to have been Joe's 'doc' for over 20 years. We managed to have some fun and laughs while navigating through his medical issues. I will miss him very much. My sincere condolences to all, and a big Spano hug for you Marilyn! You were my 'most excellent' medical assistant. Moreover, you were a truly loving and wonderful wife.

Joe was a special and dear friend to us. The times we vacationed and played cards together leaves us with fabulous memories. We couldn't ask for a better friend. He will be missed by us, and if course by his family and friends. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Good Lord and enjoy eternal life in heaven. Farewell dear friend.
