Obituary of Irma L. Ceccorulli
Irma Francoletti Ceccorulli, age 91, of Hamden and formerly of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Louis A. Ceccorulli died on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Born in Bridgeport on January 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Barnabino and Quinta Bonvini Francoletti.
Irma, affectionately known as "Millie" by family and friends, was a graduate of Warren Harding High School. Before her retirement, Irma was an employee of the City of Bridgeport, and formerly worked for Bic Manufacturing and Schick Manufacturing of Milford.
Irma was an accomplished cook, who enjoyed preparing great meals for family, featuring her homemade pastas. She also loved to crochet and knit. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all.
Survivors include her devoted son, Mark Ceccorulli and wife Francesca of Hamden, two cherished grandchildren, Attorney Michael Ceccorulli and his wife Attorney Marie Bertrand of Cheshire and Andrew Ceccorulli of New Britain, two great grandchildren, Caleb and Alessandro Ceccorulli, a brother Lindo Francoletti, two sisters, Gina Poole and her husband Robert and Mary Roberto and her husband Ernest, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Emma McDonough.
At Irma's request all funeral services were held privately and entombment took place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
