Obituary of John C. Narducci
John Camillo Narducci, 76, beloved husband of Rosalind Chiarella Narducci of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. John was born on January 7, 1940 in Mount Vernon, NY, a son of the late John and Rose Hanna Narducci. He attended Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY, class of 1957. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in education and worked as a teacher early on in his career before working as a claims adjuster for over 45 years. He enjoyed traveling extensively with his wife Roz and spent a lot of time in St. Martin, Saratoga Race Track and Myrtle Beach. He loved to spend time in his yard and tending to his garden.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 52 years, Rosalind of Trumbull, his children, John S. Narducci of Newtown, Christine Berry and her husband Michael of Newtown and Jeffrey Narducci and his wife Suzan of Raleigh, NC, seven grandchildren, John Narducci and Michael Narducci and their mother, Cathy, Amanda Berry, Ava Berry, Michael Berry, Anna Narducci, and Alex Narducci. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Joan Morissette.
The family would like to thank the MICA unit at Bridgeport Hospital who worked tirelessly to provide John's comfort.
Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St, Trumbull on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
