Obituary of Grace M. Pinto

Grace M. Carbone Pinto, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Henry Pinto, passed away at home on Monday, June 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on April 15, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Lucy (Tisi) Carbone. Mrs. Pinto was a lifelong and dedicated parishioner at St. Raphael Church and St. Margaret's Shrine. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judy Holinko. Survivors include a son, Henry Pinto Jr. and his wife Lisa of North Carolina and Dawna Pinto of Bridgeport, her brother, Louis Carbone of Milford, six grandchildren, Douglas Holinko and his wife Nancy, Marisa Forchione and her husband Lenny, Henry Pinto III, Michael, Morgan and Nicholas Pinto, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews as well as her friend, Vita Pinto of North Carolina. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Margaret's Shrine, 2523 Park Avenue, Bridgeport on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours.
