Obituary of Philip J. Pacelli Sr.

Philip J. Pacelli, Sr., age 65, of Stratford, entered peacefully into eternal rest on the 22nd of March, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bridgeport on June 10, 1950 to Rosalie Pacelli and the late Frank Pacelli, Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Melody (Wallick) Pacelli. He will be deeply missed by his children Philip Pacelli, Jr. (Staci) and Dorian Cerrone (Matthew), and by his cherished grandchildren, PJ, Camryn, Pria and Tali. Phil is also survived by his loving siblings, Frank (Gloria), Patti-Joy (Jerry), and John (Julie), as well as his brothers- and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews and many special friends. Phil served as the Director of Sales and Customer Care for Mountain Grove Cemetery Association for the past 10 years. Previously, Phil was Co-Owner/Operator of Pacelli's Bakery. Phil loved the Yankees and Giants, and Trumbull Eagles Baseball. Phil was the most loving, devoted, loyal and kind-hearted husband, son, brother, father and grandfather, uncle and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family may call on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 4–8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Prayer Services will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton.
