To Peggy's children,
Your mom and I graduated from Harding High School Class of '55 together. We shared many classes and she did attend a few of our class reunions. I loved your mom and will always remember her as a beautiful happy woman. So sorry she has passed. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also knew your dad. Al helped me get my son into Sacred Heart University when he was working there.
I know you are missing them both.
God Bless you all.

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Clinkscales. She was my fourth grade teacher at High Horizons 1987-1988. She was such a wonderful teacher and I have so many fond memories of her. One memory stands out the most, I remember her winning an award that school year and how excited and proud she was as she brought in an article with her picture explaining about why she was chosen. If anyone was deserving. It definatly was her!! May she rest in peace.

I am sad to hear that my All time favorite teacher has transitioned. Mrs. Clinkscales left such an impact on my life that I couldn't even began to formulate words to explain. A TRUE teacher, like many I was a 4th grade student of hers, the first class she had at High Horizons Magnet School. In fact, I was in her homeroom. It's so much I can say about what a Great teacher she was, but I will be respectful and just give my condolences. I am just getting the news and I live in Atlanta so unfortunately I won't be able to make the services, but I know in my heart that she will be missed by family and friends alike and she will NEVER be forgotten. Mrs. Clinkscales was one of the most influential teachers I was blessed to have during my educational years. When asked why she gave me a 'C' mark on my report card for a subject I was fairly good in Mrs. Clinkscales replied, "because your not trying your best and I know can give more." Mrs. Clinkscales, you were right, and thank you teaching me to value effort over success. God bless you and your family.

Your mom was a very special person because she had such admirable qualities such as intelligence, creativity, kindness and thoughtfulness and, what especially endeared her to me, a wicked great sense of humor. I don't understand why we lose such lovely people when there should have been many more years to enjoy their company. I Am Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
