Obituary of Violet Reynolds

Violet Farina Reynolds, age 86, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Born in Stratford on May 27, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Antoinette Gerino Farina. She enjoyed dancing and would often share the stories of the wonderful times she had dancing at the Pleasure Beach Ballroom. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Survivors include four sons, William Reynolds and his wife Susan of Clinton, Robert Reynolds of Seymour, Ronnie Moran of New Haven and Frank Guarino of Shelton, two grandchildren, Jonathan and Dominick Reynolds; a sister, Antoinette Dias as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Tyler Reynolds, four brothers, Jerry, Albert, Frederick, Mario Farina and three sisters, Josephine Sobon, Margaret Ennis and Rose Re. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margaret's Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
