Obituary of William Edward Fisher

William E. Fisher, age 56, passed away on December 7, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center after a short illness. Bill was born in Bridgeport to his loving parents, Jean Fisher and the late Robert L. Fisher, Sr. Bill lived in Trumbull all his life. He graduated from Trumbull High School. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball and was a very good player of both games. He worked at Blue Bird Garage for over 30 years as a mechanic. He is survived by his mother, Jean, his sister, Barbara Fisher and his brother, Robert (Wendy) Fisher. He is also survived by his beloved nephew, Danny Fisher. His family would like to thank St. Vincent’s Medical Center’s SICU staff who not only gave him wonderful care but also supported his family during this difficult time. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
