Obituary of Joseph A. Testani
Joseph "Joe" Testani, age 84, of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2015. Joe was born on March 13, 1931 to the late Rocco and Millie Pillo Testani. He grew up in Bridgeport, where he met his loving wife Mary (Carmel) Braca Testani, and lived the majority of his life in Trumbull. He graduated from Fairfield College Preparatory School, served as a Hospital Corpsman in The United States Navy during The Korean War, and graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Pharmacy. Joe happily co-owned and operated Huntington Pharmacy in Huntington for many years.
Joe was honest, considerate, funny, and had a remarkable work ethic. He was a supportive husband and the greatest role model for his children and grandchildren. He cherished his memories of traveling around the world with Carmel and assisting his customers in the pharmacy. He enjoyed relaxing with a good military history book. More than anything, Joe loved his family. We will forever cherish and continue to learn from our many days spent with him.
In addition to his wife Carmel, Joe is survived by his sister Frances (Testani) Osterberg of Trumbull; his son Joseph Testani and son-in-law Kevin Higgins of Staten Island; his son-in-law Atty. Richard Kascak Jr. of Trumbull; his grandson Richard G. Kascak III and his significant other Kim Yost; his granddaughter Lauren Kascak and her significant other David Toft; his great-grandchildren Richard and Robert Kascak. He is predeceased by his daughter Veronica (Testani) Kascak and his brother Rocco Testani Jr.
