Obituary of Jeannine A. Nelson

Jeannine A. Nelson, age 86, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull. Born in St. Petersburg, FL on June 6, 1929, Jeannine was a receptionist for Dr. Mongillo's office for a number of years and prior to that had worked as a switch board operator for St. Vincent's Medical Center. Jeannine had a great affection for her cats and always had a number of them around her home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her sons, Richard Nelson and his wife Odilia of Bridgeport and Timothy Nelson of MA, her two grandchildren, Evelyn Reddy and her husband Leo of Milford and Virginia Nelson of Chaska, MN, three great grandchildren, Rachel and Ian Reddy and Ariel Legensky. Jeannine was predeceased by her brother and sister, Patrick and Dorothy. A memorial service will be held at a later date and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
