Obituary of Sabina C. Hammond

Hammond Sabina C. Hammond, age 98, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of General Electric Co. with 35 years of service, died on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Born in Bedford, NY, she was a daughter of the late August and Philomena Adolfa Saputo. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick T. Hammond, two sons, Frederick R. Hammond and Richard F. Hammond, two brothers, John and August Saputo, and a sister Jennie Sisbarro. Survivors include her daughter in law, Concetta Hammond of Bridgeport, a sister, Sara Campoli of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Frederick Hammond and his wife Kathy, Robert Hammond and his wife Lisa, Michael Hammond and his wife Elaine, Mark Hammond and John Hammond and his wife Karen, eight great grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, Robert, Noelle, Michael, Ciara, John and Alexa and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning after 8:30 a.m. until the time of services.
