Obituary of Angela Marie Calandro

Angela Marie "Tootsie" Calandro, age 71, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Regional Hospice Care in Danbury. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Tootsie was born on February 15, 1944, and was a daughter of the late Rocco and Lucy Intagliato Calabrese. She earned an associate's degree in Secretarial Studies from the University of Bridgeport and retired as an administrative assistant from Aquarion Water Co. with over 15 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, vacationing in Vegas, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, and is survived by her grateful son, Dan Calandro and his wife Charlene of Sandy Hook, two granddaughters, Jenna Marie and Jamie Lynn Calandro, and her two brothers, Robert and Raymond Calabrese, and their wives Shirley and Melonie, all of CA. All funeral services were held in private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
