Obituary of Therese Marie Clara Poirier Driver

Therese Marie Clara Poirier Driver, beloved wife of the late Thomas Edward Driver Sr.,passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Born in Berlin, NH on October 13, 1943, she was a daughter of the late George and Eva Murphy Poirier. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include five devoted children, Kimberly Jenkins and her husband Daren of Trumbull, Thomas Driver Jr. and his wife Michelle of Milford, Tracey Driver of North Carolina, Melissa Benoit and her husband Wayne of Milford and Tammy Vazquez and her husband Nelson of Bridgeport, a brother, Thomas Poirier of Bridgeport, two sisters, Patricia Poirier of Bridgeport and Georgia Poirier Fortin of NH, as well as 15 loving grandchildren and 7 cherished great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, George Poirier. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
