Obituary of Pat Staltaro

Pat Staltaro, age 78, of Stratford, a retired machinist for Sikorsky Aircraft and the former American Chain and Cable Co., died on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bianco, Reggio Calabria, Italy, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Rosa Santana Staltaro, and was a step son of the late Rocco Marafiorti. Pat took great pride in the masonry work he created. Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Maria Livia Staltaro, a daughter, Rosalina Staltaro of Stratford, two sons, John Staltaro of Stratford and Perry Staltaro and his wife Shirley of Rocky Hill, a brother, Tony Staltari of Trumbull, his step sister, Maria of Italy, three grandchildren, Keli, Nicholas and Ryan and his beloved dog, June. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
