Obituary of Jane A. Caggianello

Jane A. Gallo Caggianello, age 93, of Woodbridge, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Caggianello, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on June 24, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Alexandro and Dolores Verrilli Gallo. A graduate of Warren Harding High School, she was a long time member of Mill River Country Club in Stratford and enjoyed gardening, bowling and bridge. Jane was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed. Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Cheryl Nelson and her husband Hugh of Bridgewater and Kathi Gernat of New York, NY, four loving grandchildren, Rebecca Nelson, Hugh Nelson III, Rachel Cheyette and her husband Daniel and Paul Christino and his wife Cairo and four cherished great grandchildren, Sierra Timme, Avery Nelson, Anja and Zachery Cheyette. All funeral services were held privately. Burial took place in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
