Obituary of John Brady Chapin
John Brady Chapin, age 44, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Nicole Marino Chapin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on January 26, 1971, he was a son of David and Barbara Brady Chapin of Stratford.
A graduate of Marist College, John along with his wife Nicole were very involved in the theatre and together were members of MCCTA. He also had a love of music. But above all he was a dedicated husband and father and he treasured every minute spent with his daughter. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his loving wife of 18 years, Nicole, and his parents, survivors include a cherished daughter, Bailey Ruth Chapin of Trumbull, a brother Gregory Chapin and his wife Lisa of Beacon, NY, a niece, Eva Chapin, his mother-in-law, Eileen Marino, a sister-in-law, Laura Marino Fabsik and her husband Paul all of Oakridge, NJ, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Peter Marino.
"John and his family will always be grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of Smilow Cancer Hospital's 8th and 12th floors. Their kindness, generosity and compassion will stay with us always."
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
