Obituary of Edward T. Fay Jr.

Edward T. Fay Jr., age 40, of Orange, devoted husband of Danyel Amaro Fay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his wife by his side. Born in Bridgeport on February 25, 1975 he was a son of Edward T. Fay Sr., of Bridgeport and the late Elaine Bruno Fay. Eddie was a graduate of the Kolbe Cathedral High School Class of 1993, attended the University of Bridgeport and was currently a Sales Director for Webster Bank. He was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees. Eddie was an outgoing person who was there for anyone in need. He loved to spend time with his friends and enjoyed a good laugh. But above all he was a dedicated and loving husband, Eddie was at his best when he was with the love of his life, Danyel. He treasured and enjoyed every day with her. His infectious smile and laugh will live in our hearts forever and he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his devoted and cherished wife Danyel, and his father Edward Sr., survivors include his loving brother, Eric Fay and his wife Kristyn of Bridgeport, father and mother-in-law, Domingos and Susan Amaro of Trumbull, sister-in-law, Nicole Amaro of New York, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many doctors, nurses and staff of the Smilow Hospital, 9th floor north MICU, for their dedicated and professional care given to Eddie and his family during his time of need. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
