Obituary of Ann M. Palmieri

It is with more of a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of Ann Costa Palmieri born July 7, 1922 in Bridgeport CT, beloved wife of the late Augustine J. Palmieri Sr., for 64 years. Ann and Gus's life was a true love story. They were apart from each other for a week and will now be together again forever with our Heavenly Father. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena Costa. Before moving to Stratford, she lived in Trumbull for 35 years. She had her broker's license in Real Estate and worked as a secretary and treasurer in her husband's architectural business, A.J. Palmieri Architect and Associates for 25 years. She was an active member of the Mill River Country Club for many years; she enjoyed playing cards, golfing, bowling and tennis. Ann also loved her winters in Florida. Survivors include her son, Augustine Palmieri, Jr. of Newtown, her daughter, Lynn Ann Conine and her husband Richard of Milford, three grandchildren, Frank Souza of Milford and Aidan and A.J. Palmieri of Fairfield, who reside with Deborah Palmieri, a brother, Paul Costa of Trumbull, sister, Theresa Hanlon of Trumbull, sisters-in-law, Dora Costa of Trumbull, MaryAnn Palmieri of San Jose, CA and many loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Rose Salvaggio, a brother, Frank Costa and baby sister, Theresa Costa. A special love was shown for her niece, Patty Schott and nephew, Paul Schott. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
