Obituary of Natale C. Fazio

Natale C. Fazio, age 76, of Stratford, loving husband of Antonia Spinelli Fazio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center with his loving wife and family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on March 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mary Cordone Fazio. A U.S. Army veteran, Nat was a retired employee of General Electric Co. with over 30 years of service. He was a Knight of Columbus with the St. James Council for over 50 years, and a member of the Men's Club of both Our Lady of Grace Church and Holy Name of Jesus Church. In addition to his loving wife of 50 years, Toni, survivors include his sister, Jo-Ann Raslavsky of Arizona, sisters-in-law, Gina Petitti of Milford and Lillian Coppola and her husband Guiseppe of Stratford, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers-in- laws, Domenico Petitti and Pietro Spinelli. Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of the 9th floor Oncology Department of St. Vincent Medical Center.
