Obituary of Rose Trifono

Rose Luongo Trifono, age 90, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Patsy Trifono, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home. Born in Bronx, NY on November 28, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Crescenzo and Carmela Agostinelli Luongo. Rose had worked as a telephone operator for many years for the New York Telephone Co. In addition to her beloved husband Patsy, she was also predeceased by a son, Joseph J. Trifono and two brothers, Daniel and Nicholas Luongo. Survivors include her daughter, Christine Fiore and her husband Richard of Shelton, two sisters, Anna Gentile and her husband Joseph and Marie Taddeo, all of the Bronx, two grandsons, Richard Fiore Jr. and Stephen Fiore as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial.
