Obituary of Bart R. Russo

Bart R. Russo, age 89, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Loretta Sundae Russo, died peacefully on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 3, 1925 he was a son of the late Nicholas and Angelina Manfreddi Russo. A decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II; he was a member of the American Legion Post 141. In addition to his beloved wife Loretta, survivors include his loving son, Michael Russo and his wife Donna of TN, three cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Bart and Drew Russo, a great grandson, Colton, a sister, Mildred D'Amore and her husband Frank of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Bondi, Ann Pindle, Sylvia Convertito, Marge Sansone and Angie Turner. All funeral services were private. Burial took place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
