Obituary of Asselin L. Dostie

Asselin L. Dostie, age 54, of Fairfield, CT, beloved husband of Janis L. Dostie, passed away at home on Monday, December 1, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Quebec, Canada on August 10, 1960, he was a son of Reina Poulin Dostie of Canada and the late Edouard Dostie. Mr. Dostie was a very hard working, self-employed subcontractor. He touched many lives in one way or another and is irreplaceable in the hearts of many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother and beloved wife Janis of nearly 24 years, other survivors include a son, Cory Hale of Stratford, two brothers, Daniel Dostie and Clement Dostie, a sister, Julie Dostie and his goddaughter, Sara Dostie, all of Canada. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews and dear friends. Friends can greet the family on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Prayer Services will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
