Obituary of Annetta Lo Strappo

Annetta DiPietro Lo Strappo, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Domenico Lo Strappo passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Introdacqua, Province of Aquila, Italy on July 26, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Berardino and Floriana Volpe DiPietro. Annetta came to the United States in 1970, settling in Bridgeport. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cared deeply for her family and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include two sons, Berardino Lo Strappo and his wife Diana of Groton and Piero Lo Strappo and his wife Nettie of Milford, a daughter, Rosalia Birks and her husband Martin of Bridgeport, a brother, Emanuele DiPietro and a sister, Gina Spezza both of Bridgeport, two grandchildren, Shawn and James Lo Strappo, three great grandchildren, Mason, N'Italia and Michael, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
