Obituary of Shannon M. Anderson

Shannon Michael Anderson, 41, of Stratford, CT passed away suddenly on November 16, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Shannon was born on August 11, 1973 in Norwalk, CT to Evelyn Neff and the late Karl Neff. She is a 1991 graduate of Norwalk High School and attended Norwalk Community College. Shannon was a Paraprofessional at Stratford High School and previously Wooster Middle School. In addition to her loving husband of 19 years Gregory Anderson, Shannon is survived by their children Ryan and Natalie. She is also survived by her mother Evelyn Neff of Stratford, her Mother-in-Law Valerie Watson of Norwalk; brothers and sisters, Tim Neff and his wife Deidra of Fairfield, Kim Severson and her husband Eric of Bethel, Chris Neff and his wife Barbara of Easton, Lisa Neff of Norwalk, Jason Neff and his wife Heather of Fairfield, brother-in-law Conrad Anderson and his wife Karen of Norwalk, and 12 loving nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her father, Karl Neff. More than anything Shannon enjoyed spending time with the loves of her life Greg as well as their children Ryan and Natalie. Shannon and Greg loved to share their love of cooking with their family and friends and spending time with her extended family of Stratford Firefighters, their wives and families. Shannon's love of football, especially the Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish was shared with her family and friends. Relatives and friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating her life on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull from12-4 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience at the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund to benefit her children through the funeral home. A reception for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 12-4 p.m. at Vazzano's Four Seasons, 337 Kenyon Street, Stratford.
