Obituary of Vincent Guccione

Vincent Guccione, age 79, of Stratford, a retired machinist for the American Chain and Cable Co., died on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care, Stratford. Born in Modica, Ragusa, Sicily, Italy, he was a son of the late Carmello and Georgia Petino Guccione, and was a veteran of the Italian Marine Corp. He was a longtime member of the Trinacria M.A. Society. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Matilde Livia Guccione, brothers, Salvatore and Mario and his sister, Clara. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Maria Staltaro and her husband Patsy of Stratford, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
