Obituary of Maria Guerriero

Devoted wife, mother and grandmother Maria Grazia Feola Guerriero, age 81, of Monroe, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with her family by her side. Born in Flumeri, Province of Avellino, Italy on September 9, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria Caggiano Feola. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and gardening, spending time sharing laughs with her family and friends with that ever present sparkle in her eyes. She was pre-deceased by her husband Angelo Guerriero and her brother Nicola Feola. Survivors include seven children, Raffaele Guerriero and his wife Grazia of Derby, Maria Repplinger and her husband Rolf of France, Pascal Guerriero and his wife Denise of France, Rocco Guerriero and Peter Guerriero, both of California, Mario Guerriero and his wife Joanne of North Carolina and Viviane Pisacreta and her husband Michael of Monroe, 14 cherished grandchildren, Carmellina, Richard and his wife Christina, John and his wife Patricia, Steve, Cindy, Hugo and Patsy of France, Steven, A.J., Mariah and Brianna of North Carolina, Michelle, Amy and Michael, of Monroe, two great grandchildren, Laura and Enzo, sister-in-law, Raimonda Feola, four sisters, Jenny Silano and her husband Pietro, Maria Lungariello and her husband Santo, Arminia Shoenwandt and her husband Frank, and Giulia Palmieri and her husband Fernando, three brothers, Enrico Feola and his wife Connie, Tony Feola and his wife Sandy and Mario Feola and his wife Carmella as well several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
