Obituary of Frederick M. Iannotti

Frederick M. Iannotti, age 85, of Stratford, beloved husband of Claire D. Tomaselli Iannotti, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Born in Bridgeport on August 22, 1929, he was a son of the late Joseph and Martha Mary Nuccio Iannotti. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, Fred served during the Korean War. Before his retirement he was a master carpenter with the Town of Stratford for more than 20 years. In addition to his beloved wife of 60 years, Claire, survivors include his five loving children, Frederick A. Iannotti, of Hyde Park, VT, James V. Iannotti and his wife Donna Taylor Iannotti of Wilton, Lisa M. Iannotti Connors and her husband Michael of Hillsdale, NJ, David T. Iannotti of Milford, and Sandra C. Iannotti of Stratford, a sister, Yolanda Slachtosky of Bridgeport, two granddaughters, Joanna Connors and Alexandra Iannotti, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Stanley, Lawrence, Patrick, Joseph, Frank, John, Michael, and Vincent Iannotti and sisters, Theresa Wysocki, Mary Pawlak, and Diana Fontana. Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Michael J.
