Obituary of Arline M. Boudreau
Arline M. Boudreau, of Waterbury, formerly of Trumbull passed away on June 27, 2014. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born in Bridgeport on October 26, 1935 to Henry P. Chapman and Mae Simko Chapman, Arline married Joseph E. ("Babe") Boudreau on May 4, 1957. They built a home in Trumbull and raised their three children, Karen, Jim and Tom. She was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than hosting large family gatherings for any and all occasions. She was fun-loving and funny, enjoyed dinners out, cruising, golf, and rarely sat out a dance. Five years ago, she purchased a home in Waterbury in a community where she made some special friends with whom she enjoyed socializing, theater outings, and traveling.
In addition to her parents, Arline is pre-deceased by her husband and beloved son, James Henry Boudreau, whom she has missed dearly, and who we know are welcoming her with open arms today. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Karen Crane and her husband, Robert of Trumbull, CT; her son Thomas Boudreau and his wife, Nancy of Cheshire, CT; her sisters Patricia Hart and Janet ("Rusty") Tesla, and her grandsons Ryan and Daniel Crane, who were the special joys of her life. She also leaves one aunt, Agnes Brandon, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws who will remember "Auntie Arline" as the strong, feisty lady that she was.
Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
