Obituary of Salvatore Guccione

Bridgeport Resident We mourn the passing of our beloved Father, Salvatore Guccione. He was 83. Born in Sicily, he lived in Argentina for 26 years prior to settling in Bridgeport, CT. He was a master woodworker and custom cabinet maker, creating incredible furniture to the specification of any client. His children and grandchildren cherish his creations as reminders of not only his talents but of his love for us. Salvatore is survived by four loving daughters, Dr. Alice Barone of Trumbull, CT, Dr. Gladys Guccione of Maryland, Lucy Ligouri and her husband Wayne of Bethlehem, CT, and Carmen MacLeod and her husband Scott of Newtown CT. He had five beautiful grandchildren, Robby, Kelly, Anthony, Christina and Jake. He also leaves behind his brother Vincent Guccione and his wife Matilda of Stratford, CT and several nieces and nephews. Thank you for everything you have taught us about life and for all you have done for us. We love you Pop. You will be terribly missed. We know you gave us your best and we certainly gave you ours.
