Obituary of Julia S. Davidson

Julia Sabina Santero Davidson, age 86, of Trumbull, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bronx, NY on July 28, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Clorinda Scaglione Santero. Julia married James Davidson Jr. on October 28, 1950, who passed in 2000. She was a member of the LHV Book Club and Chat Club and was Vice President of the Long Hill Village Unit Association. She was blessed with many friends during her lifetime and lived a life filled with gratitude. Julia was the loving mother to Raymond Davidson, who passed in 1970 and is survived by children, James Davidson and his wife Jeannette of Trumbull, Diane Fulco and her husband Steve of Trumbull, Laura Leone and her husband Frank of Greenwich and Bill Davidson and his wife Maria of West Harrison, NY, grandmother of Kate, James and Nick Davidson, Stephen, Christina and Brandon Fulco and Valerie Leone. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Tess Santero of Yaphank, NY and Mary Catalano of Coral Gables, FL. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers, Peter and Adelio. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America, 321 Research Pkwy., Suite 212, Meriden, CT 06450.
