Obituary of Stanley J. Wojtowicz

Stanley J. Wojtowicz , age 96, of Trumbull, a retired experimental machinist for Raybestos, Inc., died on Monday, May 5, 2014 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Derby, he was a son of the late John and Maria Konieczna Wojtowicz, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus with Park City Council 4096 and a member of VFW Post 10059. Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Angelina Costantini Wojtowicz , a son, Daniel Wojtowicz and his wife Debra of Bethel, a daughter, Jeanne Waggoner and her husband Richard of Cincinnati, OH, three grandchildren, Melissa Wojtowicz of Bethel, Amanda Rutan and her husband Bradley of Naperville, IL and Eliza Jarvis and her husband Chris of Springfield, OH, two great grandchildren, Colin and Logan Rutan as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Wojtowicz. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 9, 2014. Interment with military honors will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
