Obituary of Domingos Esteves

Resident of Bridgeport Domingos Esteves, age 82, a Bridgeport resident, died peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2008 at St. Vincent Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born on March 21, 1925 in Pedrario, Province of Montalegre, Portugal, he was a son of the late Jose and Carminda Esteves. Mr. Esteves came to the United States in 1960 along with his family and made his home in Bridgeport. He was a retired laborer for the Silliman Co. and was a member of the Vasco da Gama Portuguese Club. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be sadly missed. Survivors include his devoted wife of 65 years, Alice Vicencio Esteves, two loving children, Valdemar Esteves Sr. and his wife Adelaide of Bridgeport, Arminda Radzwillas and her husband Paul of Trumbull, three cherished grandchildren, Michele Esteves, Val Esteves Jr. and his wife Maria and Tiffany Radzwillas, two adored great grandchildren, Kayla and Kyle Esteves, a sister, Joaquina Esteves of Portugal and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 9:00 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. St. Peter Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
