Obituary of Maria Errichetti

Devoted Homemaker Maria (Mary) Gallucci Errichetti, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Daniel Errichetti, died on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Jewish Home, Fairfield. Born in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Pavia Gallucci. Mrs. Errichetti was a member the Altar Guild of St. Raphael /St. Margaret, a former member of the Children of Mary Society and the Kennedy Center Auxiliary. She was a proud homemaker and will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking and baking for her family. Mary devoted her life to the care and comfort of her family and was happiest when doing for others. In addition to her husband of 57 years, survivors include a son, Ernest Errichetti of Bridgeport, three daughters, Joanne Mazzeo and her husband Robert of Easton, Rita Errichetti of Bridgeport and Dr. Ann Errichetti and her husband Dr. Mark Keroack of Palos Park, IL, a brother, Gene Gallucci and his wife Barbara of Fairfield, a sister, Connie Gallucci of Bridgeport, seven grandchildren, Robert Mazzeo, Rachel Carcare and her husband Chris, Laura , Kristin and Julia Mazzeo, Simone and Elise Keroack and many nieces and nephews. She was a predeceased by her sister, Silvia Gallucci. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Jewish Home, especially Tandet E, for the care they gave to Maria. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ernest Errichetti Scholarship Fund at Notre Dame High School through the funeral director.
