Obituary of Margaret O. Gross

Margaret Izzo Gross, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Henry Gross, past into eternal rest on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Cambridge Manor surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born on September 9, 1925 to the late Leonard and Marie Saracino Izzo and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. After graduating from Harding High School in 1944, Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Doyle and Martin Furniture in Bridgeport and Fairfield, and then spent over another 20 years working at Nutmeg Time Inc. in Bridgeport before retiring in 2009. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Patricks Church, Bridgeport. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Pamela M. DeJoseph and four siblings, Antoinette Dwyer, Marie Naudzus, Daniel Izzo and Doris Weber. In addition to her beloved husband of 63 years, Henry, survivors include, a son-in-law, Michael DeJoseph of Stratford, two grandchildren, Michael Anthony DeJoseph and his wife Carole Lavelanet and Marie DeJoseph; a sister, Lucy Olyenick of Bridgeport as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Chubby, as she was nicknamed, will be terribly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
