Obituary of Bernard H. Griswold

U. S. Army Veteran of World War II Bernard H. Griswold, age 82, of Trumbull, a retired bus driver for Connecticut Transit Co., with 29 years of service, died on Friday, October 20, 2006 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Stamford on January 5, 1924, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Hazel Hoyt Griswold and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lorraine Horton Griswold, five children, Debby Botticelli of Trumbull, Donna Orrico and her husband, Aldo of Trumbull, Jonathan Griswold and his wife, Dot of Waterbury, Christopher Griswold and his wife, Rhonda of Bridgeport and David Griswold and his wife, Nancy of Stamford, nine grandchildren, Danielle Pastir and her husband, Matt, Nicole Holden and her husband, Tom, Rebecca and Timothy Orrico, Bryan, Missy, Jonathan and Cynthia Griswold and Regina Cornelio, seven great grandchildren, Cameron and Riley Pastir, Skye, Cape and Kali Holden, Travis Marquis and Julianna Griswold. Funeral Information Prayer Services will take place on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
