Obituary of Patricia M. Eben

Patricia M. Eben, age 91, of Stratford passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the CT Hospice in Branford surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Lambert Eben. Born in Brooklyn, New York on February 2, 1922, she was a daughter of the late William and Esther Borthwick Condon. She had worked as a legal secretary for the former Peat Marwick Mitchell, located in Long Island, for many years before her retirement in 1973. She was very family oriented and her greatest pleasure was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Patricia Canfarotta and her husband Thomas of Stratford and John Ahrens and his wife Gayle of Mount Bethel, PA, her seven beloved grandchildren, Thomas Canfarotta, Michelle Marsh and her husband Jordan, Michael Canfarotta, David Canfarotta, Bryan Canfarotta, Kristen Bentsen and her husband Scott and John Ahrens, Jr. and his wife Toni and a great grandson, Benjamin Bentsen. She is also survived by her brothers, Bob Condon and his wife Teresa of Canton, GA, and Bill Condon and his wife Linda of Peachtree City, GA. Funeral Information A memorial gathering celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
