Obituary of Bill R. Arvidson

Trumbull Resident Bill Arvidson, age 87, of Trumbull, a retired employee of Philips Medical, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport on December 18, 1921, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf and swimming. He was pre-deceased by his wife Rose DAuito Arvidson and two brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Willa Gingolaski and her husband Michael of Oxford and Maureen Arvidson of Danbury, a grandson Michael J. Gingolaski and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
