Obituary of Jack Dunne

June 22, 2007 Former Manchester Resident John Joseph (Jack) Dunne died June 22 in Bridgeport, CT of cancer. Jack was born in Dearborn, MI, and grew up in Manchester, CT. He graduated from East Catholic High School and the University of Rhode Island. His early adult years were spent in Manchester, where he worked in retailing and at Foxwoods Casino. In 1997, he relocated to the Tampa, FL area, where he worked in computer service and the building trades. Jack was passionate about music and was a collector of rock music. He also was an avid sports fan, who followed the Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Chargers, URI basketball, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his parents John and Rose Dunne of Manchester, CT. He is survived by his sister Perrie Dunne and her husband Mike Blumenstock, and nephews Michael and Matthew of Weston, CT. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
