Obituary of Clement F. Donini

Lifelong Resident of Bridgeport Clement F. Donini, age 74, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Bridgeport Machines and a crossing guard for the City of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on October 1, 1931, he was a son of the late Frederick and Sylvia Ambrosini Donini and a lifelong city resident. A U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he served aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea #43. He was a man of great faith, and enjoyed creating mosaics of the Last Supper. Mr. Donini was an avid bowler, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and also volunteered at the Merton House in Bridgeport. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary ONeil Donini, two daughters, Licia Soderberg and her husband, Bill of Derby and Karen Tullock and her husband, John of Ansonia, a son, Clement K. Donini of Bridgeport, a sister, Mary Rizzardi and her husband, Frank of Fairfield, four grandchildren, Jenna and Dana Soderberg and Vincent and Anna Ingrassia as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
