Obituary of Alice R. Grillo

Resident of Trumbull Alice Williams Grillo, age 70, of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in St. Josephs Manor after courageously fighting and fiercely battling a brain tumor since St. Valentines Day. Alice was born in Danbury, CT, a daughter of the late Isaac D. and Dorothy Leize Williams. A loving, devoted and very special wife, sister, mother and grandmother, she was totally dedicated to everyone she knew. Alice was completely unselfish and always put the needs of others before herself. She was smart, fun, a joy to be with and an honor to have met. Alice is survived by her devoted husband Vincent A. Grillo Sr., her adored children, Vincent A. Grillo Jr. and his wife Patti, Cathleen A. Taylor and her husband Tom and Susan J. Reynolds and her husband Michael, eight loving grandchildren, her cherished siblings, Shirley Limot and her husband Andre, Nancy Bullard and her husband Tony, Linda Jowdy, Debbie Miller and her husband Thomas and Attorney Richard Williams and a brother-in-law, Raymond Collins. She was pre-deceased by her sister Dorothy Collins. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull with Pastor Dr. Matthew Braddock officiating. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Middlebrooks Ave., Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
